OUR STORY

Rita and Sid began in a very personal way.

After more than twenty years working as a fashion stylist in London, New York and Los Angeles, I found myself looking at children’s clothing through a completely different lens. Not just as fashion, but as a way children express who they are and how they see the world.

When I became a mother, I noticed how much joy my own children found in small moments of discovery. A new city, a different language, a weekend adventure, even a simple trip across town could feel magical. I wanted to create something that captured that spirit. Pieces that felt playful, meaningful and a little bit special.

Rita and Sid is named after my children. It is inspired by the way they move through the world with curiosity, confidence and imagination. Each design is a small story, a nod to places we have been, places we dream about and the memories families create together.

We design in Los Angeles and produce in thoughtful limited runs so each piece feels intentional. Comfort matters. Quality matters. Most of all, personality matters. These are clothes for kids who want to be themselves.

My hope is that Rita and Sid becomes part of your family’s adventures too, whether that is a big trip or simply the everyday magic of growing up.
